Remarks 1.3 for iPad adds better handwriting and a smart Dropbox sync (5 promos #giveaway)
25 April, 2012
Remarks 1.3 our note taking and PDF annotating application for iPad hits the App Store. It allows you to write notes, draw sketches and makes it easy to annotate PDF documents right on your iPad. The new version features an improved handwriting and a smartly-automated Dropbox sync.
Remarks is a streamlined note taking application for iPad focusing on an easy creation of notes and notebooks. It gives you a huge variety of writing tools: free-hand writing, type letters, diagrams, pictures input, arrows and so on. Simple and intuitive interface makes Remarks a versatile tool for students, teachers or business people.
The application makes it easy to annotate the existing PDF documents, adding text or handwritten notes, and then you can email those files instantly. Annotating documents could be especially appealing to the students, who often need to highlight and jot notes in their text books during the lectures.
The new version now includes an automatic Dropbox sync, that immediately saves or updates all the new notes to the online storage. Simply connect to your Dropbox with a folder in Remarks, and it will automatically perform 2 way sync as soon as you do changes in those files. For example, you have a PDF file in your Dropblox, it will automatically be accessible in Remarks. If you open it, highlight, add some notes and annotations, the application will automatically perform a sync, updating the existent file in your Dropbox.
Remarks 1.3 has an improved handwriting tool which now provides extremely smooth lines while writing or drawing. Handwritten notes created with Remarks now look more realistic. The great thing is that the faster you write, the slimmer the line becomes. This creates an effect of realistic old-school handwriting. You should try it out yourself.

Woo, new update, I like and also like the contest! Wish for luck and I am big fun for all your products
How Remarks is distinguishable from the other notes apps?
It looks the ink mark improves a lot and I hope it will surpass noteshelf, the #1 note app right now.
I already do PDF annotation on my iPad in PDF Expert, which from what I can tell so far, is a very good app. As someone who works extensively on the desktop in Adobe Acrobat Pro, I really appreciate the depth of functionality, as well as the clean understandable interface, that Readdle brings to PDF Expert for my iPad workflow.
As for note taking apps, I’ve been trying out a few. So far no single note taking app seems to have all the features that would make it near perfection. Though it’s not just about features (which are important, depending on one’s particular needs); but also about how easy to use the app is when out and about, and how appealing the user interface is—-my tools should be a pleasure to use if they are going to be of use to me day in and day out.
I haven’t tried Remarks yet, but I did go back and read the earlier blog post that described the different features of PDF Expert and Remarks. I can’t tell yet whether Remarks has enough functionality separate from what PDF Expert provides to make it a useful note taking app for me. That’s why I appreciate these promo code giveaways; I could then check out Remarks’ functionality first hand.
I am college student on South Korea.
Thx for Scanner pro, your great app, I can make some of my book to PDF. And then I want to annotate to my PDF file. If I have Remarks, I can easily write something to my PDF. And I can easily take a note by using my iPad. This can help me to achive great grade and also improve my productivity.
App of READDLE is always beautiful and easy to use. As a IT-opinion reader, I recommended it to my friends that using iDevice.
Sincerely, I want Promo code of Remarks, the best note-taking app.

Use it to take note during meeting and while doing consultancy with client.
I’ve been using penultimate and want to try something else.
I have longed for this app for quite a long time, I have once used Upad to take notes but it crashes so much on the New iPad which really makes me so sad. Would very love to win Remarks to take notes when I read.Since I use PDF Expert which makes my PDF annotation so easy and really saves a lot. So I’d love this Remarks from Readdle. It will help a lot to my reading and work.
Thanks for the giveaway and chance!

I’d love to try this readdle, but I’m used to Ghostwriter Notes app. This note-taking app from http://majorspot.com is really cool with all its features.
Yes, even on a first generation iPad, the handwriting with this app is super smooth. I love this app.
