ReaddleDocs for iPad 1.7 adds Dropbox Sync - AirPrint Support and More

Dec 2, 2010

Today Readdle today is pleased to announce the release of ReaddleDocs for iPad 1.7, a new version of its all-in-one document reader. The latest version includes two-way sync with Dropbox, iDisk and other cloud storages; printing via AirPrint and background file transfers on iOS 4.2. Due to different nature of the documents which ReaddleDocs can handle, updated PDF viewer allows user to choose between horizontal and vertical page scroll.

ReaddleDocs 1.7 now lets users sync any folder on Dropbox, iDisk or Readdle Storage with a local folder on the iPad. Within a single tap the whole folder can be two-way synced to the Dropbox or any WebDAV storage. This new feature comes in handy for updating annotated PDF files on the cloud faster than ever before.

Other useful additions of ReaddleDocs 1.7 are AirPrint support and background file transfers. The new version takes the full advantage of the new enhancements offered in iOS 4.2 for the iPad. ReaddleDocs users can now print files directly to any AirPrint enabled printer. Also, file transfers to and from the online will continue in the background when user switch to another application.

"ReaddleDocs has been used for reading anything from magazines to technical documents", says Alex Tyagulsky, Readdle CMO. "We are excited to add Dropbox and iDisk sync to this release, making the easiest way to keep PDFs updated while you add notes and highlights on the go."
