Fluix is a unique cloud-based paperless workflow solution that leverages iPads/iPhones to automate business processes, making it easier for teams to work together and making those businesses more efficient.
    It consists of multiple web-based micro services that communicate with each other via APIs. We are a cohesive team of experienced engineers and we’re looking for experienced and motivated engineers to work with us and become part of the Readdle family.


Responsibilities:

  • Evolve robust and reliable APIs for different kinds of clients, including mobile applications, external and internal web-services;
  • Enrich Fluix with new unique features;
  • Build and evolve data collection/analysis/processing functionality;
  • Create new web-based micro services;
  • Perform integration with numerous 3rd party systems, including reporting, ERP and CRM systems;
  • Improve existing continuous integration processes;
  • Produce well-tested, production-ready code;
  • Work closely with the QA team;
  • Participate in architecture and infrastructure decisions;
  • Participate in daily scrum team activities, such as stand ups, sprint demos, retrospectives, grooming and estimating;
  • Share new ideas and be ready to deliver them.

Requirements:

  • Over 3 years of software development experience;
  • Motivation to learn and spread obtained knowledge;
  • Motivation to build really great products in the team of experts;
  • Excellent knowledge of PHP programming language;
  • Experience in developing flexible API’s;
  • Experience in writing independent Unit Tests;
  • Solid knowledge of software design patterns and best coding practices;
  • Knowledge of key algorithms and data structures;
  • Excellent knowledge of relational databases (indexes, transactions, isolation levels, and locks);
  • Moderate Linux administration skills.

Will be a plus:

  • Experience with NoSQL databases, such as MongoDB, Redis and ElasticSearch;
  • Experience with Amazon web services, such as S3, DynamoDB, SQS;
  • Experience with common Symfony components;
  • Experience in developing micro services using Node.js and/or golang;
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes;
  • Experience in development of high-available and high-concurrency services.
