Printer Pro 1.1 for iPad prints annotated PDFs, saves documents as PDFs

Jan 6, 2011

Today Readdle releases Printer Pro 1.1, the new version of popular application for printing documents from the iPad. Printer Pro 1.1 lets iPad owners print PDF documents with highlights, text labels, signatures, hand drawn notes and other annotations right from the PDF reader of their choice.

Many popular iPad applications like PDF Expert, GoodReader, iAnnotate and ReaddleDocs allow people to annotate PDF documents. Printer Pro 1.1 is the first and only application that can print these documents with the mark-up preserved.

To support even more printers than before, Printer Pro 1.1 integrates with AirPrint, Apple owned technology for wireless printing. Currently AirPrint works with HP ePrint enabled printers and with printers shared through a Mac or a PC with more compatible printers to come.

"Students, sales people, lawyers, scientists and other professionals who edit PDF documents on the iPad need a simple way to print their editing. With Printer Pro 1.1 they can print annotations directly to many Wi-Fi printers and to any printer attached to the Mac or PC via helper application that runs on the computer," says Alex Tyagulsky, Readdle CMO.

PDF printing is another great addition of Printer Pro 1.1. Now, any MS Word, MS Powerpoint, web page or TXT file can be saved as PDF. Only several taps required to transfer the document via "Open in" file sharing protocol that is built into iOS and convert it to PDF.

Pricing and Availability:
Printer Pro for iPad 1.1 is available on the Apple App Store at $6.99 (USD) to new customers and as a free update for existing Printer Pro for iPad owners.
