Readdle Creates Great Apps 4 Years in a Row

Aug 1, 2011

Readdle [ri:dl], a pioneer in iPhone and iPad application development and publishing, today celebrates its 4th birthday. Since its founding on August 1, 2007 Readdle has delivered over 3,150,000 copies of their world class applications to iPhones and iPads. To celebrate this milestone Readdle is announcing a special 30% sale for 48 hours starting on August 1. The company is also giving away one iPad each day, 4 days in a row.

"We are thrilled to participate in the growth of the iOS platform", says Igor Zhadanov, Readdle CEO. "We would like to thank the more than 3 000 000 users all over the world who rely on our apps to get the most out of their iPhones and iPads. Readdle is looking forward for many more years of making great products."

Back in 2007, Readdle pioneered document reading on the iPhone with a cloud service aimed to access and read files on the iPhone via Mobile Safari. In less than a year over 250 000 documents were read on iPhones using the service. Since the first day of the App Store, Readdle offered ReaddleDocs, their first iPhone application, which enabled users to store, manage and read their files on the go. ReaddleDocs quickly became the number one document reader and file manager for the iPhone.

For 4 years, Readdle has been changing the way people use their iPhones and their iPads to stay productive on the go. Expanding iOS platform capabilities, the company has since released 12 products. Among them are Scanner Pro that turns an iPhone into a portable scanner, PDF Expert to read, annotate and sign documents, Calendars to manage personal schedules and PDF Converter to convert web pages and office documents into PDFs right on the iPad.

To celebrate its fourth birthday, Readdle is offering a 30% sale across all Readdle applications. Price reductions will take effect for 48 hours starting on August 1st at 12pm PDT. Additionally, Readdle is giving away 4 iPads to its twitter followers.
