Scanner Pro by Readdle, the best iPhone and iPad scanner app, has launched a new Expense Report feature.
It follows a survey of over 6,000 users by Scanner Pro* that reveals over a third of users do not have access to an expense report platform (like Expensify), and regularly face the laborious task of scanning their receipts, uploading them manually into a spreadsheet and then emailing relevant receivers.
Expense Report is designed to help small business owners, freelancers and solopreneurs stay on top of their paperwork, saving time and admin headaches.
It curates the expense flow by automatically scanning and detecting receipts and extracting all needed details into an automatic Expense Report, available as a PDF or CSV.
Instead of the tiring process of typing all the details into an Excel spreadsheet, Scanner Pro automatically captures all key information from your receipts needed to create an expense report. This includes the date, vendor, amount, tax, currency, and type of expense.
It is so quick it can be done with a few taps on the app between meetings, and everything could be saved on your iCloud indefinitely. In particular, this feature is the new must-have productivity tool for business people who are networking and traveling, and require good expense management on the go.
Our survey also finds that while almost half of users (42.4%) scan receipts every week, key areas of stress and annoyance include:

What’s more, an artistic few (6.7%) have been busy scanning music scores.
