Calendars 3 increases iOS users productivity

Jan 12, 2012

Today Readdle announces the release of Calendars 3, the new version of its Google Calendar client for the iPhone and iPad. The update performs a faster sync with Google Calendar online service and a completely redesigned interface to provide a better experience to manage daily activities.

For people who rely on Google Calendars, the application instantly assimilates and displays all calendars from Google account as well as shared, country holiday and even weather forecasts. All synced events are displayed using the colors that are used in Google Calendar account, which makes the schedule accustomed and convenient. The update has significantly improved Google Calendar syncing and Google tasks management.

Calendars 3 spotlights a new polished interface that lets people easily create events with the help of a Custom Keyboard. The new Custom Keyboard allows users to add appointments, set reminders and create recurring events with minimum taps possible, focusing user on the general picture instead of dealing with the application.

"With more than 100,000 people using Calendars regularly, each second saved by doing things faster makes the difference", said Igor Zhadanov, Readdle CEO. "The latest Calendars update finalizes five months of analysis and research of how people track meetings, schedule events and create daily 'to-do' lists."

In addition, Calendars 3 integrates with Siri, iPhone 4S personal assistant. Using Siri, people can now create events, reschedule appointments, set reminders and much more in the local iPhone Calendar that will be displayed in Calendars application as well.

Pricing and Availability:
Calendars 3.0 is available on the Apple App Store for $6.99 for the new users and as a free update for existing application owners. Calendars is a universal iOS application, which works on the iPhone, iPod touch and iPad: http://itunes.apple.com/app/calendars-google-calendar/id371434886?mt=8
