Currently, we are seeking an In-House Counsel to join our growing team. Reporting directly to the Legal Counsel and indirectly to the General Counsel, you will be a key contributor to the development of our in-house legal function. In this role, you will assist in overseeing and managing the company’s legal affairs across various jurisdictions where we operate, ensuring compliance and supporting our global expansion.
What you will do:
- Proactively review, draft, and negotiate contracts with detailed feedback to safeguard Readdle’s priorities and minimize vulnerabilities across all business dealings
- Assess business initiatives, projects, and operations to ensure adherence to legal standards, providing guidance to uphold Readdle’s objectives and reduce liabilities
- Engage with internal teams and stakeholders to address legal inquiries, offering solutions that prioritize Readdle’s benefits and limit exposure to challenges
- Analyze new business opportunities, partnerships, or strategies, delivering assessments that identify hazards and recommend measures to secure Readdle’s advantages
- Manage and protect Readdle’s intellectual property portfolio, ensuring proper registration, enforcement, and defence against infringement to maintain competitive edge
- Create and refine standardized legal templates to streamline processes, enhance consistency, and protect Readdle’s goals across recurring transactions
- Provide expert guidance on labor laws across jurisdictions where Readdle operates, ensuring compliance and supporting workforce-related decisions
- Support the Marketing team with advertising compliance, the HR team with employment matters, the Finance team with contractual and regulatory needs, and the General Counsel with strategic legal initiatives
About you:
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar role
- Law degree
- Excellent drafting skills with both legal and commercial issues
- At least Upper-Intermediate level of English, both verbal and written
Would be a plus:
- Expertise in international taxation and experience with Double Tax Treaties
- Expertise in Ukrainian Diia City regime regulations
- Basic knowledge of GDPR and data privacy protection
- Advocate status in Ukraine or license to practice in Poland
