Reporting to the VP of Marketing, the Head of Product Marketing takes ownership of Calendars’ growth, adoption, and engagement efforts; and helps connect our products with the productivity challenges that our customers face. You will lead and coach a team and be accountable for KPIs across acquisition, activation, retention, and monetization. Calendars has a real opportunity to double its growth in the next 18 months, and we are looking for a stellar PMM leader to fulfill this potential.
What will you do in this role:
- Expand the top of the funnel through brand distinctiveness and improved awareness. Lead the evolution of the value proposition, positioning, and messaging informed by user research, market insights, and business model refinements. This should include recommendations for product enhancements, user journey optimization, and the product pricing strategy. Use this as a foundation to grow mindshare of the Calendars app through Paid, Earned, and Owned media.
- Develop and execute a plan to double revenue growth over the next 18 months. Develop a clear understanding of the value exchange dynamics of the product. Lead a cross-functional team in the identification and subsequent unlocking of growth levers through the process of rapid data-driven experimentation.
- Own the conversion and activation journeys for all user segments. Work closely with Lifecycle, Customer Support, Customer Insights, and Product teams to define user segments and journeys. Use best practice knowledge and insights-led hypotheses to create a testing roadmap and own the conversion KPIs.
- Run pricing and paywall tests. Create a roadmap of tests for improving the performance of both pricing and paywalls in all segments, platforms, and regions. Work closely with the Product and Lifecycle teams to use best practice techniques to ensure we maximize our opportunity at the key moment of purchase to grow user lifetimes and lifetime values.
- Be a subject matter expert. Identify user needs by deeply understanding our target customers and how Calendars delivers customer value. Be an expert in our competitive and market landscape, and ensure that our product and marketing evolve to harness new opportunities.
- Lead go-to-market campaigns for new launches. Work closely with direct reports as well as cross-functional teams to plan and execute integrated GTM plans across earned, paid, and owned media.
- Act as a business owner. Provide performance transparency and communicate up and across Readdle to ensure that we are learning and growing–even from our mistakes. Develops annual and quarterly plans, leads regular business reviews, performance summaries, etc.
About you:
- Extensive hands-on experience marketing and growing iPhone consumer apps. You have extensive, recent experience in a similar role at a mobile app developer.
- Experience launching new and innovative digital products, features, & services. We have ambitious goals and aspirations, and you will be a key driver in improving our customers’ lives for the better
- Storytelling. We are looking for someone who can craft everything from messaging pillars to a press release, weaving together key elements for a powerful narrative that distinguishes Calendars from the rest.
