We’re looking for a Senior QA Engineer (Desktop) to join the Spark team at Readdle. You’ll ensure the quality and reliability of our desktop email client, working closely with developers to deliver a seamless experience to millions of users worldwide.
What will you do:
- Test the application. Includes design testing, UI / UX testing, functionality, marketing, and localization testing.
- Write a test plan/test cases/user cases for checking new features or marketing experiments according to the requirements.
- Maintain BLС(Bug Live Cycle) in Azure
- Do release testing before each release.
- Do post-release testing (check customers issues in helpspot, check crashes in appcenter)
- Set up and maintain test environments for effective testing.
- Knowing all fundamental testing theories and methodologies ( like design testing, UI / UX testing, functionality, and localization testing)
- Basic understanding of prioritization. Understands why it is important to prioritize some tasks over another.
- Given tasks should be completed within the planned time and with shippable quality.
- Automation: Know how UItests work and how to run/read them in Jenkins.
- Be part of automation sprints and deliver tasks according to the plans.
- Contribute during the team's meetings (Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-up, Grooming Session, Sprint Review, Sprint Retrospective, Design Review, etc.)
- Share knowledge with team and company
- Review test cases and test runs created by other team members
- Timely inform manager regarding obstacles and problems preventing efficient delivery of expected results.
- Be open-minded while testing a new feature. Take into account real user cases from customers.
