New Calendars for Apple Watch: access your agenda on the go, and personalize your experience with our customized watch faces

Apr 27, 2023

We’re delighted to launch a new and improved experience for Calendars users on Apple Watch, which means you’ll be able to manage your agenda, and create events straight from your wrist.

You can receive invites and updates for your appointments, and easily reply from your watch without having to dig out your phone. Plus, automatic syncing means your diary will remain firmly up to date.

Once in the app, you can also choose whether you view your agenda (i.e. list view) or your Task List. Mark completed tasks as done; edit, and delete them on the go.

Manage your day at a glance

As part of our ongoing effort to provide you with useful tools, we’ve created far more functionality in the watch Calendars App.

This is part of an ongoing commitment to support Apple Watch users’ busy and often active lifestyles, so they feel more in control of their schedules on the go. For instance if you’re out having a run, you can see with a glance at your new, customized watch face how much time is left until your next meeting.

Six customized watch faces

For superior convenience, instantly check your schedule and tasks from your watch face, without having to tap into the Calendars app.

Simply choose one of the SIX Apple Watch faces below, and benefit from the newly-optimized complications (widgets on watch faces) built around them.

An added bonus is that each watch face is designed with a particular lifestyle in mind, meaning whether you’re sporty, juggling work and family commitments or simply being a productivity champ, you can really tailor your experience.

NB: To set a new watch face click the relevant link in the table below from your iPhone, and it will download. Then the native Apple Watch app will automatically sync, and offer to add it to your current watch faces list. Please be aware, the watch faces available by the links in the table below require the new Beta version of Calendars to display the complications properly.

Complications made simple!

Want to see your schedule at a glance but don't want to install an entirely new watch face? No problem. You can easily add one or two of our Calendars’ complications.

For anyone newer to Apple Watch terminology, complications are shortcuts to apps that can be added to a watch face, rather like widgets.

To explore, start by long-tapping on your Apple Watch screen and selecting ‘edit’ to enter the watch face editing mode.

Next, choose the space where you want to place the complication, which can either be an empty space or somewhere a current complication is present. The most important step is to scroll down to find the Calendars (blue) option and select the complication offered for the space you have chosen.

Once you’ve made your choice, simply finish editing and enjoy quick and easy access to important calendar information right on your watch face.
