Today Readdle announces the release of ReaddleDocs for iPad 1.0.1, the latest version of its revolutionary file manager, document viewer and attachment saver application for iPad. This new version introduces USB file sharing via iTunes, a redesigned sidebar and the ability to save attachments directly from the iPad Mail application.
ReaddleDocs for iPad 1.0.1 adds File Sharing into its extensive list of available file transfer techniques. When the device is plugged into the user's computer via USB, iTunes 9.1 displays a File Sharing section in the Apps tab of the selected iPad. It lets users copy documents to ReaddleDocs or move files from iPad to the desktop.
Another core iPad technology supported in ReaddleDocs for iPad 1.0.1 is Document Support. It allows the user to save documents, when opened in Mail and Safari applications on iPad, to ReaddleDocs. With this function iPad owners can save email attachments and download documents from the web for later use.
"Saving email attachments directly from the Mail application and USB file transfer were at the top of our user requested features for a long time. With ReaddleDocs for iPad 1.0.1 we were finally able to answer these requests," said Igor Zhadanov, Readdle CEO. "This summer we will add these functions to the iPhone version of ReaddleDocs too."
Also, the new version spotlights a redesigned sidebar that improves the navigation between the user's online storage and email accounts. It provides one click access to all previously added servers and emails, making it easy to switch between items.
Pricing and Availability:
For a limited time only, ReaddleDocs 1.0.1 is offered at the introductory price of only $4.99 (USD) on the Apple App Store to new customers and as a free upgrade for existing users.
