At Readdle, we care about our users, and therefore, we have improved our Terms of Service and Privacy Notice governing your use of the Calendars App.

If you continue using the Calendars App, you automatically agree to the updated versions of the documents.
If you do not agree to the updated documents, you must cancel your subscription, delete the Calendars App, and neither access nor use the Calendars App.
Readdle Limited (“Readdle” or “we”) welcomes you, our user (“User” or “you”). We provide you with our application “Calendars” (“App” or “Calendars”), available on iOS, macOS, iPadOS, and watchOS, subject to the terms and conditions set forth or referred to in these Terms of Service (“Terms”).
We have two Privacy Notices that you should know about. Our Privacy Notice for Calendars describes our collection and use of personal data connected to your access to and use of the App. The second one – Privacy Notice for Readdle Website – is for our website, which you can access by following the link (“Website”).
By installing the App, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, you are not permitted to and must discontinue using the App.

The App is available for free download on the iOS, macOS, iPadOS, and watchOS platforms in the App Store. Please note, that the scope of functionality of the App may differ for the different platforms.
Upon installation of the App, please connect at least one of your calendars. The more calendars you connect, the better experience you get.
By installing the App, you acquire a free-of-charge right to use the App with a limited set of features, enabling Users to use basic calendar features.
You can explore the additional features available under the Calendars Pro subscription plan during a free trial subject to the then-current terms of the free trial offer displayed in the App.
Within special promotional campaigns, Readdle reserves the right to offer special terms for the free trial or free use of a subscription plan for a specific period to certain users. The terms and conditions and duration of such offerings shall be defined in a separate promotion description and/or in the App.
Please note that when your free trial or the period of the free-of-charge use of a subscription plan expires, your App Store subscription fee for using Calendars Pro will be automatically charged unless you cancel it in your device settings at least 24 hours before the billing date.
The Calendars Pro subscription plan is universal across the available platforms and provides a set of features available in the then-current version of Calendars Pro depending on the platform.
To get access to the full scope of features of the App, you must purchase a monthly, yearly or lifetime Calendars Pro subscription plan, subject to the then-current subscription fee (including VAT, if applicable) shown in the App.
The lifetime subscription offers limited future updates, meaning that you will get the current functionality supported, the general updates intended for bug fixes, and security updates. However, some new features developed and offered by Readdle may be made available on a paid-for basis.
We reserve the right to change the Calendars Pro subscription plan, including the list of the features available, at any time. Should these changes significantly impact your use of the App, we will send you adequate notice.
Readdle may offer special terms and promotions for certain users. The conditions and duration of such offerings shall be laid down in the promotion description in the App.
Your payments are processed via the App Store.
Please note, that if you pay in a currency that is different from the currency in which the fees are quoted, your bank may apply its current exchange rate and/or add commissions and fees on top of our subscription fees.
We reserve the right to revise the Calendars Pro subscription plan fee at any time. We shall provide you with adequate notice of any subscription fee changes before they become effective. If you do not agree to pay the updated subscription fees, you can cancel your subscription, and after your current subscription period expires, you can continue using the App’s free-of-charge features only. If you do not cancel your subscription before the effective date of the fee change, you will be deemed to have agreed to the updated fee, which will be charged commencing your next subscription period.
You may purchase subscriptions through our authorised resellers. If you choose this option, your payment details will be processed, and the charge will be made through the respective reseller's platform.
Your subscription will automatically renew, and you will be charged a subscription fee for the subsequent subscription period — month or year – unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the billing date in your device settings.
To do so in the iOS, iPadOS, or watchOS version, take the following steps:

Tap Cancel Subscription (if you don’t see such an option, this means the subscription is already canceled).
To do so in the macOS version, take the following steps:
Open the App Store app

Click your name. If you can’t find your name, click Sign In

Click Account Settings
⇓
Scroll to Subscriptions, then click Manage
⇓
Find your Calendars subscription
⇓
Click Cancel Subscription. You may need to scroll down to find the Cancel Subscription button. If there's no Cancel button, the subscription has already been canceled.
Upon cancellation, your access to the additional features available under the Calendars Pro subscription plan features will remain until the end of the current subscription period.
Please note if you purchased a subscription through our authorised reseller, different procedures may apply. Refer to the terms of service (or an equivalent document) and guidelines of the authorized reseller's platform from which you purchased the subscription.
If you have any problems with the functioning of the App, please contact us, and we will make every effort to help you.
Your purchases made through the App Store may be refunded by contacting Apple support directly and requesting a refund.

If you purchased a subscription via our authorised reseller, the reseller’s terms of service (or an equivalent document) will govern the refund procedure. To request a refund, please contact directly the reseller from which you purchased the subscription.
We do not provide services or access to our products to new customers from the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus. The existing customers from the said countries retain access to the installed App, but they will not have access to the App updates or our customer support service.
Readdle does not engage in any business with companies owned by or affiliated with the citizens of the Russian Federation or the Republic of Belarus.
Readdle does not engage in business with companies that support the Russian aggression in Ukraine.
In brief:
We do not provide cloud services. All files and materials you access or manage through the App are stored locally on your devices or connected cloud services. We do not have access to the data stored on your device, nor do we store it anywhere. The integration between your cloud storage provider and the App on your device is also performed directly per your cloud service provider’s security requirements.
Some features of the App are compatible with third-party websites and services, including, without limitation, the connected cloud services, file converting services, FTP, SFTP, WebDAV, SMB, and other integrations. We cannot guarantee that any currently supported third-party services will remain compatible with the App software and that all features will be constantly available and uninterrupted.
We do not store your login information when you connect third-party accounts (for example, Google Calendar). We have temporary access to your authentication credentials when you log in. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login information and all activities performed under your credentials.
If you know or have any reason to suspect that someone has gained access to your Account without your authorization or your credentials have been lost, stolen, misappropriated, or otherwise compromised, please immediately notify us by email: rdsupport@readdle.com.
You acknowledge that different terms of service (or equivalents) and privacy policies may apply to your use of third-party websites, services, and content. Readdle shall not be held responsible for any loss, damage, or other liabilities incurred as a result of your interaction with those third-party websites and services.

The App is owned and managed by Readdle or our affiliates.
The App and the materials in the App, including text, graphics, information, images, drawings, trademarks, logos, video, sounds, music, software, and other materials (collectively, “Content”), as well as copyright and other intellectual property rights to such Content belong to Readdle or our affiliates or is included in the App with the consent of the owner.
The Content does not include any materials you upload to or otherwise provide while using the App.
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, and if applicable, in consideration of your payment of the subscription and/or one-time fees to our authorized reseller, as well as your adherence to the terms of service (or equivalent document) of such an authorized reseller, we grant you a limited, temporary, personal, non-exclusive, non-sublicensable, revocable, non-transferable, worldwide license to download and use the App on the device(s) that you lawfully own or control. This license is granted in the manner described in these Terms and is intended for personal, non-commercial, or internal business purposes only.
Readdle may provide upgrades, modifications, updates, or additions to the App. The terms of this license shall apply to any such modification unless a separate license accompanies it.
Under this license, you shall not:
Your license to use the App shall be automatically revoked if you violate these Terms. We reserve all rights not expressly stated in these Terms.
We will enforce our intellectual property rights and use any remedy available under the applicable law.
“User Content” means any files, including pictures, text, videos, sound recordings, and other materials, added, accessed and/or managed via the App by you. As between you and Readdle, you retain ownership of User Content to the extent permitted by applicable law, and are responsible for your User Content and information that you submit or access through the App.
We welcome feedback, reviews, ideas, questions, and comments about your experience with our App (collectively “Feedback”). By submitting your Feedback to us directly or via any platform, including, but not limited to, online distribution platforms, marketplaces, and social media, you:
You can contact us to request to refrain from or discontinue our use of your Feedback at any time.
The feedback displayed on our website, social media platforms, and various communication channels, including marketing and advertising materials, represents the personal experiences of individual users of our App. It should not be inferred or assumed that these experiences are typical or reflect what other users may experience. We make no such claims regarding the representativeness of these experiences.

Readdle warrants that the App will perform substantially according to its documentation within the period of your license. Readdle disclaims all other warranties regarding the App, its features, and content to the fullest extent permitted by law, including without restrictions, guarantees of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement of intellectual property rights of third parties or other rights.
We do not make any promises regarding the accuracy, usefulness, reliability, or correct operation of the App and User Content. Furthermore, we do not guarantee that the App will operate without interruption or be secure or that any defects will be corrected.

We do not accept responsibility for any inaccuracies or incompleteness in the information, materials, or content available through the App.
You are solely responsible for ensuring that your actions within the App comply with applicable laws and regulations, as well as with the terms of service and privacy policies of any third-party websites and services you use.
In no event shall Readdle, its subsidiaries, directors, partners, employees, contractors, or agents be held liable for any indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages arising from your use or inability to use the App (for example, if Apple Inc. terminates your access to the App). This includes, but is not limited to, damages resulting from any reliance on the information provided through the App, or from mistakes, omissions, interruptions, defects, viruses, even if Readdle has been advised of the potential for such damages.
The above limitations of liability do not apply where prohibited by law.
Should any portion of these warranty disclaimers or limitations of liability be held invalid or unenforceable for any reason, or should Readdle be found liable to you in any manner, then our cumulative liability for all claims under such circumstances shall not exceed the amount you have paid to Readdle in the year preceding the claim.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Readdle, our subsidiaries, directors, partners, employees, contractors, and agents from and against all claims, responsibility, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable legal and accounting expenses, arising from:
We reserve the right to handle our legal defense however we see fit, including instances when you indemnify us. You agree to cooperate with us in the execution of our legal defense strategy.

Except as expressly provided elsewhere in these Terms, these Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Ireland, excluding its conflict of law rules.
If any content within the App, including User Content, or your use of the App, violates the laws of the location where you access it, you are not the intended user, and we request that you do not use the App. You are responsible for knowing and complying with the laws of your jurisdiction.
Except where prohibited by applicable law, and without limiting any statutory rights of consumers, you agree to resolve any dispute, conflict, claim, or controversy arising directly or indirectly from or related to the App or these Terms, including any issues concerning their validity, interpretation, or enforceability, through amicable negotiations with the Readdle team, adhering to the principles of good faith and cooperation.
If a consensus cannot be reached through negotiations, the dispute shall be resolved exclusively in the national courts of the Republic of Ireland, which will have jurisdiction over the matter, and the substantive laws of the Republic of Ireland will apply.
You may also seek to resolve the dispute out of court through an alternative dispute resolution process and can submit your complaint online through the online dispute resolution (ODR) platform.
All claims must be filed within one year after the claim arises unless applicable law mandates a longer period.

Please note that some of our email messages may be more 'commercial' in nature, advertising our services or offers that we think may interest you. You can unsubscribe from receiving these types of emails by following the instructions provided in the communications.

In brief:
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion and with prior notice, to modify, suspend, or discontinue the App, its content, features, or any offers within the App at any time. You agree that we will not be liable to you or any third party should any of the aforementioned actions occur concerning the App.
Furthermore, we reserve the right to take any legal action we deem appropriate in response to actual or suspected violations of these Terms, which may include, without limitation, the suspension or termination of your license and access to the App.
We will also cooperate with legal authorities and third parties in investigating any suspected or alleged criminal or civil misconduct.
You may terminate your access to and use of the App at any time by deleting it and ceasing all access and use, unless you are subject to an active subscription (refer to the information below). Upon your termination of the App use, all permissions and licenses granted to you under these Terms will immediately cease without any obligation on Readdle's part to offer refunds.
Please note that when you delete the App on your device with an active recurring subscription, it does not automatically cancel it. You must manually cancel your subscription (please see Subscription Periods, Renewals, and Cancellation above).
We reserve the right to transfer our rights and obligations under these Terms to a third party; however, this will not impact your rights or our obligations.
We also reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time, at our sole discretion. Should there be material changes that affect your use of the App, we will provide advance notice by emailing you or posting the changes on the Website or within the App.
By continuing to use the App after these changes take effect, you accept the revised Terms. Should any provision of these Terms be deemed unlawful, void, or unenforceable by a competent authority, the remaining provisions will continue to be valid and enforceable.
In legal or administrative proceedings related to the use of the App, a printed version of these Terms will be treated with the same level of validity and enforceability as other business documents and records created and maintained in printed form.
