As part of our #InspiringWomen series, we spoke to Kate Katrachenko, Account Executive at Fluix — Readdle's workflow automation platform — about what motivates her in both her career and free time. Here she shares her insights.

I firmly believe that change is a natural part of life, and my varied background reflects that. Over the years, I have worked in several industries, gaining different skills along the way. Before joining Fluix, I didn’t have any sales experience and was always skeptical of sales tactics that prioritized profits over people and selling at all costs, that’s why I was drawn to Fluix’s approach. The emphasis on problem-solving instead of traditional sales strategies made good use of my customer support and project management expertise. Furthermore, I wanted to challenge myself and explore a new field for me, the sales field, especially since I was deeply impressed by the product concept I heard about.
Back in 2013, I worked on a project involving digitizing document flows at a government agency. So a decade ago, I understood and valued the concept of digital document management, which grew after I joined Fluix.

What drives me in my work is the impact I can have on the lives of others. We help companies become more effective, and save time and money. Witnessing the positive change that Fluix brings to someone’s workflow is truly motivating. It is fulfilling to know that the problem that might have been causing frustration and irritation daily now is fixed due to our product.

They push the limits and show that everything is possible, anything is achievable. Their big goals and inspiring stories fuel my ambitions. I do believe that humans need other humans. In hard times it’s even more clear how precious human connection is and that it should be cherished as much as possible.

Music is a form of magic that serves as the greatest inspiration in my free time. It has the power to evoke emotions and feelings in a way that few other things can. It can bring joy, happiness, and excitement, or it can evoke sadness, nostalgia, and even pain. The melody, rhythm, lyrics, and harmony of a song can transport us to a different place or time, triggering memories and emotions that we may have forgotten or buried deep within ourselves.
This passion started at the young age of four when I began ballroom dancing, which played a crucial role in shaping my personality. Music has remained an essential part of my life, and I get immense joy from DJing and taking vocal classes. Music can connect people across different cultures, languages, and backgrounds. It is a universal language that can bridge gaps and bring people together. Overall, this art form is an inspiration because it can touch our souls, heal, uplift, and transform us profoundly.
