We're looking for a Senior FP&A Analyst to join our Finance team. In this role, you will have an opportunity to enrich expertise in complex revenue recognition processes, including transitioning to subscription-based models. You will gain experience analyzing and optimizing cooperation with such sales platforms/billing and/or payment systems like Apple, Zuora, Stripe, Google, PayPal, and others from an accounting standpoint, enhancing proficiency in data reconciliation and process improvement.
What you’ll do:
- Enhance revenue analytics in Microsoft Dynamics, Tableau, and other applications, focusing on constantly exploring opportunities for process improvement.
- Build and maintain accurate revenue forecasting models incorporating ARR, MRR, churn, upsell, and cross-sell metrics.
- Analyze revenue trends and variances, providing actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Assist in the annual budgeting process and rolling forecasts, focusing on revenue planning.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to align departmental plans with corporate financial goals.
- Support Fluix (our B2B product) client billing process and analyze Zuora billing system for process improvements.
- Optimize revenue uploading processes into Microsoft Dynamics
About you:
- Strong understanding of revenue recognition principles and international accounting standards.
- Familiarity with subscription-based revenue recognition models and their implementation.
- Experience with billing systems like Zuora, Stripe, PayPal, Apple, Google, etc., and financial systems like Microsoft Dynamics/Navision.
- Solid understanding of SaaS metrics and the subscription revenue model.
- Analytical mindset with a proven ability to turn data into actionable insights.
- Proficiency in data analysis and reconciliation, with attention to detail (this is a critical skill).
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally, communicate effectively with stakeholders, and learn quickly.
Nice-to-have:
- Ability to adapt to changing regulations and industry trends in revenue recognition.
- Certification in accounting or related fields (e.g., CPA, ACCA).
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with Google BigQuery or similar data warehousing solutions
