If you’re like many of us, managing different types of files can sometimes feel like a juggling act. Switching between various tools, navigating multiple menus, and trying to remember where each feature is located can be frustrating and time-consuming. Previously, you had to locate the file first, then remember where each tool was located within the app, and navigate multiple menus to get your task done.
We’ve heard your feedback and are excited to introduce a solution that addresses these pain points: the new Tools Tab in our Documents app.
This feature brings all your advanced tools into one central location, making file management more efficient. You simply choose a tool, and it automatically suggests files that can be processed based on their format, simplifying your tasks and saving you time.
Jump into action and skip the unnecessary steps.
- All Tools in one place: With 34 powerful tools at your fingertips, you no longer have to search through menus. All your tools are now just a click away, making it easy to work with files seamlessly.
- Smooth navigation: With all tools centralized, you eliminate extra steps, quickly finding and using the tools you need.
- Discover new features: The Tools Tab encourages exploration of powerful tools you might have missed in previous versions. Plus, with more AI features on the way, you'll have even more tools available in one place.
How it works
Using the Tools Tab is straightforward.
- Open the Tools tab: access all your tools from a single, central tab in the app.
- Select a tool: choose from a variety of options such as Pro Converter, PDF Editor, Multimedia Tools, Audio Editor, Photo Tools, and more.
- Choose the file: select the file you need to work on.
- Complete the action: quickly and efficiently complete your file action.
Once you’ve completed the action, the file will be saved in the same folder as the original one. A smart action menu will then appear, offering options to:
- Delete the original file
- Open the newly processed file
- Share the file
This allows you to immediately decide on the next steps without leaving the workflow.
You can also continue working in Documents by selecting another tool for the same file or start working with other files, ensuring a seamless and uninterrupted workflow.

Documents has always received updates to improve performance and make your favorite app better. Now, edition updates will bring more helpful and fun features to you on a regular basis to continue to make your Documents app better than ever. We think the new Tools Tab will make file management easier and more efficient.
